Magnificent plant with huge domes of purple flowers in mid summer, turning to attractive seed heads. Supposed to be perennial, but seems to be biennial here. Worth growing anyway as it is quite spectacular. To 2m. Limited stock of bare root plants available Feb/Mar - see photo of typical plant as supplied
