Parking

There is ample free parking for visitors through the gates, at the top of the driveway.  Disabled visitors are welcome to park at the top of the track, next to the tea room. Don't be put off by the narrow lane or the canal bridge, just take it slow, but please don't beep. Coach parking for groups is available by prior arrangement only. Please see Group Bookings for more information on coach parking and access.

Public transport

We now have a rural 'on demand' bus service which connects us to several local train services. To register with the service and book it, click here.  Our nearest train stations are Acton Bridge, Frodsham, Runcorn East and Runcorn. There are taxi ranks at Frodsham and Runcorn. If you would like to combine train and a walk or cycle, we suggest using Acton Bridge station. Follow the road to the River Weaver bridge, then take the path along the river to Dutton Locks and the footpath to Lodge Lane. It's around a one hour walk or a twenty minute bike ride.
